PSA: Important new EU regulations on deforestation is into force since 30th December 2025. Natural rubber latex sheet and products fall within the scope of these regulations. For latex sheet or products imported into the EU from the start of 2026, the importer will be required to demonstrate compliance with the regulations through a certificate of conformity.

There are a limited number of plantations that hold the required approvals which means that, initially at least, compliant latex will be at a premium. We expect this situation to improve over time but there are predictions of both price surcharges and supply shortages in the next 6 to 9 month.
